Addiction Treatment for Nevada Nurses & Healthcare Workers
Your benefits or EAP may help cover treatment. We verify confidentially and for free — your employer and union are never notified.
Healthcare workers carry everyone else’s emergencies. Twelve-hour shifts, staffing shortages, trauma exposure, and — for many — daily proximity to controlled medications. When the people who care for others start struggling, they are often the last to ask for help, because the stakes feel higher: a license, a career, an identity.
We treat nurses, technicians, and other healthcare professionals with the discretion those stakes demand. Treatment is confidential, and getting help early — before an incident at work — is the single best thing you can do for both your health and your career.
What Makes Your Work Different
License worries
Fear about the nursing board keeps many nurses from seeking help until a crisis forces it. Voluntarily entering treatment is viewed very differently than being reported after an incident. We can coordinate with your attorney or licensure program if you choose — and with no one if you do not.
Access and diversion pressure
Working around opioids and sedatives makes early self-treatment dangerously easy. Our clinical team understands medication access as an occupational risk factor, not a moral failing.
Compassion fatigue and trauma
Repeated trauma exposure drives substance use in healthcare just as it does in public safety. Our dual diagnosis program treats PTSD, anxiety, and depression alongside addiction.
Your Questions, Answered Straight
Will treatment be reported to my licensing board?
We do not report voluntary treatment to licensing boards. Substance use treatment records carry extra federal protection (42 CFR Part 2) beyond standard medical privacy. If you participate in a professional monitoring or alternative-to-discipline program, you control what is shared and with whom.
Is it better to get help before something happens at work?
Almost always, yes. Boards and employers generally treat voluntary, proactive treatment far more favorably than problems discovered through an incident, audit, or diversion investigation. Early help protects your license as well as your health.
Do nursing union benefits cover treatment?
Most healthcare union plans include substance use and mental health benefits, and federal parity law requires addiction care to be covered like other medical conditions. We verify your benefits for free and confidentially.
Do you treat co-occurring depression, anxiety, or PTSD?
Yes. Our dual diagnosis program treats mental health conditions and addiction together — which research shows works better than treating either alone.
